Total income per household member in 2018 first quarter is 719 euro: statistics

The total average income per member of household in Bulgaria in the first trimester of 2018 was 719 euro and grew 9.8% on the same period of 2017. In the structure of the total income the highest share comes from wages (56.3%) followed by incomes from pensions (27.0%), self-employment (6.7%) and social benefits and indemnities (3.0%), the National Statistical Institute has said.

The average income from wages was 405 euro and grew 11.5%. Incomes from pensions grew 2.1% reaching an average of 194 euro. Incomes from social indemnities and benefits grew to an average of 21 euro (1.9% growth).

Total expenses per member of household in the first trimester of 2018 came to 646 euro and grew 11.5% on the same period of 2017.
