EUR 220 million earmarked for Bulgaria from Norwegian Financial Mechanism under Innovation Norway Program

The Norwegian Financial Mechanism under Innovation Norway Program has provided funding to Bulgaria worth EUR 200 million.

Norway's Honorary Consul General in Bulgaria, Venceslava Yanchovska, who is also the head of the managing body of the program, has said that project proposals related to innovations in the "green" industry are already being accepted.

The program supports local initiatives, innovative ideas in the field of implementation of green technologies and processes, support for the production of nature-friendly products and services, and implementation of energy efficiency measures.
