In a telephone conversation, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has acquainted his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban with the position that he will present at a working meeting in Brussels on Sunday on migration issues and asylum.

Boyko Borissov has said that Bulgaria as a front-line country along with Greece, Italy and Spain, cannot agree to sending migrants already in Europe back to countries of first registration.

Boyko Borissov has also said he will insist on an analysis of migrants in Europe differentiating those among them needing protection from economic migrants.

Viktor Orban has assured Borissov that he fully supports his position for an immediate closure of EU external borders. He has confirmed that Hungary and the other Visegrad Group countries continue to oppose mandatory relocation of refugees.
