A monument of culture can be found downtown Dobrich, which is a part of the ancient history of the District of Dobrudzha – the remains of a wealthy Roman bath, which most likely served the villa of a rich Roman person. The remains of 6 premises are still visible – dressing room, basins for cold, hot and moderate procedures, as well as a heating chamber for the water. There are also remains of a sewerage system. The bath is believed to have been used over the second half of the 3^rd and the beginning of the 4^th century, when the region was part of the Roman Empire. The remains were first discovered and restored back in 1963, but were neglected later on. However, the recent efforts of the municipality have turned it into one of the most visited attractions downtown Dobrich.
