On August 1 we mark the 130th anniversary since the official opening of the Central Railway Station in Sofia. The original building (up, left) was the work of architects Antonin Collar, Bogdan Prosek and Todor Markov, and was put in exploitation in 1888. That building was fully demolished on April 15, 1974. The new terminal (down, left) is a project of architect Milko Bechev and was officially opened on September 6, 1974.
