On his Facebook page, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has apologized to "Bulgarian friends and brothers" for a comment he made in a TV interview in which he described the Ilinden-Preobrazhenie uprising as Macedonian. Justifying his words as an act of "carelessness" and "mistake", Zaev reminded that for more than a year now, Macedonia and Bulgaria have several times celebrated common events in their history together.
