Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva wants immediate meeting with Cypriot experts over "Olympic" case

At a meeting with the Ambassador of Cyprus, Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva has called for an immediate expert-level meeting between representatives of the Financial Supervision Commission and the Cypriot Finance Ministry on the case of the bankrupt insurance company "Olympic". Many people have been affected and we still do not have official information from Cyprus about the procedure for paying compensations, Zaharieva said. The ambassador said that he would assist in clarifying the details of the case, which left uncovered more than 200,000 clients of the company in Bulgaria.
