International Olympic Committee supports Bulgaria’s candidature to host 2024 Winter Youth Olympics

Bulgaria’s bid to host the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics is supported at the highest level at the International Olympic Committee. The budget for the operational expenses is between EUR 30 and 40 million, Bulgaria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev announced on Facebook. The Bulgarian delegation which attended the 133rd Session of the International Olympic Committee in Buenos Aires had a sixty minute meeting with the technical team of IOC. It will consult Bulgaria during the preparation of its candidature to host the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games. The President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee Stefka Kostadinova and Bulgaria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Krassen Kralev met with the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach.
