BNR’s report: Radio Bulgaria with key role as information source about Bulgarian Presidency of Council of EU

A record number of one million listeners on a weekly basis has been achieved by the Bulgarian National Radio, the report presented by Director General of the public media, Alexander Velev, at a meeting of the National Council for Electronic Media. He presented the Program, Technological and Financial Activity Report for the second half of 2018

During this period Radio Bulgaria continued to perform its functions of public media. It remained a main source of information from and about Bulgaria for foreign audiences around the world, as well as to Bulgarian diasporas abroad with its pages ten different languages ​​- Bulgarian, English, French, German, Spanish, Greek, Albanian, Serbian, Turkish and Russian.

The report also highlights the important role played by Radio Bulgaria as a source of up-to-date information about the country in 2018, chracterised by the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
