Russia’s ambassador to Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov has denied allegations that Moscow is expected to interfere in the elections in Bulgaria this year.
Ambassador Makarov stated in Varna: “We do not intend to interfere in your election campaigns. We have not been given any instructions to do so. The Bulgarian people have the right to elect who should represent them at a local, national and international level.”
