Bulgaria to attract investments from Saudi Arabia through joint company

Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia will register in Sofia a joint company with a nominal capital of EUR 400,000. The two countries will have equal participation in the company. The Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Saudi Arabia’s Company for Investment in Agriculture and Stock-breeding will be shareholders in the new joint company. The company will work towards attracting investments in Bulgaria’s agriculture, stock-breeding and processing industry and will encourage reputable international organizations to support business projects of Bulgarian companies. The export of Bulgarian agricultural produce to Saudi Arabia is expected to increase after the establishment of the new joint company.
