On the 120th anniversary of the birth of composer Pancho Vladigerov a stamp with his image on it was validated. This is a sign of respect for the artist, who is often called the "Patriarch of Bulgarian music". According to Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technologies and Communications, Dimitar Genovski, the first Bulgarian stamp on the topic of "Famous Composers" dates back to 1956, but for the first time an edition with the image of Maestro Vladigerov has been printed. The new postage stamp is the work of prominent artist Theodor Liho. Pancho Vladigerov received recognition as an artist in the prime of his life. His works continue to have success today on both international and Bulgarian stages.
