7,000 hectares of farm land hit by hailstorm in North Bulgaria

Nearly 7,000 hectares of farm land were hit by the recent torrential rainfall and hailstorm in North Bulgaria. The road pavement in some areas was also destroyed by the natural calamity, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva announced. The state authorities have allotted EUR 2 million for compensations of the Bulgarian farmers.
