UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay is in Bulgaria for day of Bulgarian education and culture

Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO is paying an official visit to Bulgaria on 23 and 24 May at the invitation of President Rumen Radev.

She will join the 24 May celebrations – Day of Bulgarian education and culture and the Slavonic alphabet, as an expression of respect for the country’s contribution to the development of world culture. Within the frameworks of her official visit Audrey Azoulay will discuss the prospects of a subsequent extension of the cooperation between Bulgaria and UNESSCO in education, science and cultural heritage preservation.
