Representatives of more than 20 initiative committees have gathered to protest in front of Sofia Municipality against overdevelopment, construction in parks and green spaces. Protesters call for revision of the existing detailed development plans, which allow new construction and deterioration of the quality of life of the citizens of Sofia. Protesters received supported by Ombudsman Maya Manolova. Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said that she had the same objectives as civic organizations, but that it was not always possible to stop construction, because of private land.
