Bulgaria wins 18 medals at European Games in Minsk

Bulgaria is 16th in the final standings in the number of medals the country won at the Second European Games which ended in Minsk, the capital of Belarus on Sunday.

The Bulgarian athletes won 18 medals overall – 3 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals. Russia is first with 109 medals.

Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev praised the performance of the Bulgarian competitors. A total of 85 Bulgarian athletes took part in the European Games, in 15 sports.
