Bulgaria’s St. Anastasia Island celebrates its holiday on August 15

The only inhabited island on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast - St. Anastasia near Burgas is being preparing for its holiday - August 15 - Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The holiday will start with traditional island greetings and authentic music. Controlled access to the island's lighthouse will be provided at 11am, as it is offering spectacular views of Burgas and the bay. The traditional island choir with the Strandzha ensemble will also perform. At 5:30 pm the youngest visitors will be able to embark on an adventure with the "Mad Lab" and experiments with air, fire, wind and water would take place. The festive day will end with concert "Westside Story - The Love of Maria and Tony", with the participation of  Bulgarian pop star Orlin Goranov.
