Finding an investor willing to provide financing for education is not an easy task. However, this is what a Bulgarian company has managed to do. Coursedot, which in 2016 attracted funding from the Eleven Fund, backed then by the European Investment Fund. The need for personnel in the IT sector around the world is proving to be a winning combination for the Bulgarian company. The beginning was set in 2013 after its founder and CEO, Teodor Panayotov, returned from a specialization at Singularity University. At the age of 20, he became one of the youngest CCSI/CCIE Certified Instructors (Cisco's highest certification). He found out that large corporate clients usually work with a limited number of training companies, sometimes offering unreasonably high prices. That's why he and his team created an online platform with tens of thousands of IT trainings. Gradually, the company developed and discovered new opportunities. This also led to the emergence of the Coursedot Instructor Hub, a platform that brings together IT instructors from around the world and gives them better opportunities to find clients. Currently, the Bulgarian company is being an advisor to corporations and assists them not only in selecting the right training and instructor, but also in organizing the entire process and quality control.
