Foreign Minister Ekateria Zaharieva visits Moscow

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is paying a working visit to Moscow at the invitation of Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Minister Zaharieva’s meetings will focus on bilateral cooperation in energy, economy, tourism and transport, with main talking points – the overland section of the TurkStream gas pipeline across the territory of Bulgaria and the relaunch of the Belene nuclear power plant project.

Ekaterina Zaharieva’s working visit is the first visit to Moscow by a Bulgarian foreign minister in 8 years.
