On the second day of his official visit to Japan, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev delivered a lecture in Toyo University on the role of the students in the global processes and the development of the bilateral relations. Bulgaria’s head of state Radev pointed out that the young generation today is called to cope with big challenges such as climate changes, sustainable development and building selfless connections between the nations and the governments. President Radev also pointed out that Bulgaria is thousands of kilometers away from Japan, but there is a strong spiritual connection between the two nations, which has withstood the tests of time. A meeting with students and lecturers from Bulgaria was also held. President Radev received an award of an honorary doctorate from the Toyo University.
