The Bulgarian cabinet approved the purchase of two second-hand mine sweepers from the Netherlands for EUR 2 million. The two vessels will boost the capabilities of the Bulgarian military fleet to fully fulfill its duty to carry out minesweeping operations, ensure safety of navigation in the Bulgarian waters in peacetime and help Bulgaria fulfill its obligations at national level and at allied level as part of NATO and the European Union.
