In the presence of most ministers of the Borissov 3 cabinet, the Bulgarian MPs are discussing in plenary hall the 2020 state budget on first reading. According to the draft budget, next year Bulgaria will collect and spend an equal amount of money-nearly EUR 24 billion. In other words, the 2020 budget will be balanced with zero deficit. The economic growth is forecasted at 3.3%. Unemployment is expected to continue to fall and inflation will slow down. In 2020, the Bulgarian authorities may borrow a new debt to the tune of EUR 1.13 billion.
