By a decision of the political council of the ruling coalition the minimum monthly pension in Bulgaria will be raised to 125 euro /250 Leva/ as of July 1 next year.
The increase affects almost 600,000 pensioners in the country. Again by a decision of the coalition council the state will start covering kindergarten fees for children from vulnerable groups aged 4 to 6. A fund will be created in which 35 million euro /70 million Leva/ will be set aside over the next three years for the construction of kindergartens and creches where there is need.
