Foreign direct investments in Bulgaria over the first nine months of 2019 amount to 714.5 million euro 1.2% of the GDP.
Over the January-September, 2019 period they went up by 431.1 million euro compared to the same period of last year, Bulgarian National Bank data show. The net inflow of investments by non-residents in real estate is positive and amounts to 3.9 million euro. Germany accounts for the biggest share of investments in real estates at 1 million euro, followed by Russia – 0.7 million euro, the Netherlands – 0.6 million euro and Latvia – 0.5 million euro. The biggest investors in the country during the first nine months of 2019 are the Netherlands - 323.4 million euro, Germany - 260.1 million euroand the UK - 142.4 million euro.
