Bulgaria reports 1,949 daily Covid-19 cases, a positivity rate of 11.9%

1,949 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 16,422 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 11.9 %, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 2,303 patients are being treated in hospital, 278 of them in intensive care. 228 is the number of new hospital admissions, 84.65% are among the unvaccinated.

24 is the number of Covid-related deaths in the past day, 3,565 are reported as recovered. The highest number of newly registered coronavirus infections is in Sofia525, Varna – 232 and Burgas -173.

2,342 doses of vaccine have been administered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours. 2,055,253 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in the country, 707 213 have taken a booster dose.
