Bulgaria has received an offer from Lockheed Martin for the delivery of eight more F-16 fighter aircraft , outgoing Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov said. According to Minister Zakov, the offer is comparable to the first one, but includes a much larger package of capabilities. Moreover, Bulgaria can pay in installments.
"This is a contract proposal that has to be submitted to the National Assembly", said Dragomir Zakov. In his words, the contract includes some tight deadlines.
