Bulgarian students earned medals at the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics (BOI) and the international competition Romanian Master of Informatics (RMI), held in Bucharest, the Ministry of Education and Science said.
Twelth-grader Atanas Dimitrov from the Sofia High School of Mathematics won a gold medal at the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics and the Romanian Master of Informatics competitions. Tenth-grader Veselin Markovic from the High School of Mathematics in Varna claimed the silver medal at the Balkan Olympiad in Informatics and a gold medal at the Romanian Master of Informatics.
