“A glut is being created on the local agricultural market because instead of export corridors, the countries that are close to Ukraine are turning into warehouses.” During a meeting with agriculture ministers from Poland, Romania, Hungary and Czechia at the Green Week Berlin 2023 trade fair, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture Yavor Gechev stated that Bulgaria stands in solidarity with Ukraine, but that European solidary it also needed with the countries around it because competitiveness has been breached.
