Bulgaria is the honored country at the Thessaloniki Fair

For the 87th edition of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), which will take place from 9 to 17 September, Bulgaria is the honored country.  Bulgaria has participated in TIF events since 1926, organisers said. 

This year's participation is organised by the Ministry of Economy and Industry. Nearly 60 Bulgarian companies and organisations from various sectors will showcase Bulgaria's new technological face at the International Fair and Congress Centre in Thessaloniki.  

Among them are organizations and institutions such as the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA), the Technical University (TU) in Sofia, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), etc. Dozens of Bulgarian companies from various sectors such as high-tech and IT, companies related to the food industry, education, transport, mechanical engineering, etc. will also present their activities. President Rumen Radev, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and representatives of the Bulgarian government are also expected to attend. The focus of the forum will be on the promotion of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Greece in the fields of investment, innovation, infrastructure, energy, tourism, etc.
