Anti-government protests in the country have not stopped for 52 days. The blockades of the three key intersections in the capital city - in front of Sofia University, at Eagles’ Bridge and Nezavisimost Square remain.

In Plovdiv, at noon, an anti-government rally hindered traffic with its low speed of about 10 km/h. There was also a short blockade in the tunnel, below the Old Town, where protesters sang the Bulgarian anthem, waving Bulgarian flags.

Near Rosenets Park, protesters organized the Dogan Saray Beach Festival for the sixth time in a row, with the message "We want Dogan to fire Borissov!". The aim of the beach festival is for people to enjoy the beach, listen to music and talk about the growing civil society and its role.
