The swimming challenge is 6400 meters long and has a 50-year-long tradition in the city of Burgas. The start of the swimming marathon is on the island of St. Anastasia at 9.30 am on June 18. The final point of the competition is the Bridge of Lovers in Burgas.

After registration, all residents and guests of the city can participate in the swimming competition, as long as they are at least 16 years old. Enthusiasts must cover the distance in a freely chosen style, but without the use of any aids. The goal is for each participant to reach the final in less than an hour after the winner has finished. Those lagging behind will be picked up by speedboats. This year's prize fund also includes prizes for swimmers over the age of 45.
