The situation with the coronavirus is uncontrollable. The new cases will reach over 4,000 a day. By the end of the month the capacity of the hospitals will be 100% exhausted. This is what the mathematician from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Ognyan Kunchev predicted for Nova TV.

According to him, the introduction of new anti-epidemic measures will be necessary for 15-20 days to stabilize the situation. "The measures must now be quite drastic," Kunchev said.
He is of the opinion that the number of those actually infected is much higher than those registered with symptoms, because the asymptomatic ones are at least three times more. "It's very insidious. These people don't know they're sick and they're spreading the virus," Kunchev said.
